How we make the books

Every story is written and edited by Gia Freer. The illustrations are generated with AI image tools from our own character designs and art direction, then chosen and corrected by hand — no page is accepted without a person deciding it's right. The facts on the Big Kid Pages come from public sources (like the Bureau of Labor Statistics) and are read by a real person who does that job before we print.

Why we say so

Parents deserve to know how a children's book was made. We use AI for pictures because it lets two people make a series of sixteen books about everyday jobs; we don't use it to decide what's true, and we never let a character's look change from book to book.

Who checks each book

Each job guide names the professional who reviewed it. If you do one of the jobs in the series and spot something wrong, tell us — we fix it in the next printing and credit you.
